03Our story

Founded by
Kris Ramsingh.

Dominion Project International was founded by Kris Ramsingh, with Linda Ramsingh as a founding director.

Born in Trinidad, Kris made Roanoke, Virginia his home in 2006 and became a U.S. citizen in 2015. He is a local business owner here — Dominion Custom Upholstery.

Kris has described Dominion as a missionary organization that travels to India, Africa and the Caribbean to share the Gospel while providing clean water and medical supplies.

The fuller picture

Today Dominion has gone to four areas of the world, with one purpose and many focuses:

  • India · Hyderabad water, feeding, school scholarships, a church plant, orphan homes and widow support through small business; next, a school building and property
  • Lesotho, Africa church planting, evangelism and discipleship
  • Trinidad, Caribbean (Kris’s home country) evangelism, church planting and a feeding program
  • Brazil · Manaus & the Amazon river boat ministry evangelism, a church plant and a medical clinic

Dominion is governed by a volunteer board; directors serve without pay. Kris and Linda Ramsingh are its founding directors and signed its bylaws as President and Secretary.

A named project for every check

No project, no check. Each one names a place and the person responsible.

Photos & receipts

When a project closes, we publish what was done, with photos and receipts.

How the 10% works. Each project total already includes 10% for oversight and delivery: bank fees, transfers, receipts and reporting. There is no separate fee on top.

Before any money leaves: a Project Card

  1. The place, and what will be completed there
  2. The person responsible
  3. The budget in and out, and who holds the account
  4. The closeout date and the proof
  5. Whether it finishes work already started
  6. Which fund is charged
